Volunteers sort donated groceries at a partner distribution point in Katowice, check expiry dates, and pack boxes for pickup. Shifts run in groups of 4-6 people and are scheduled a week in advance so the point knows exactly how many hands will show up.
A trained volunteer visits an elderly resident for conversation, light help around the home, and a walk if the weather allows. Visits are arranged on a recurring weekly slot after the first meeting, so the same volunteer returns to the same household.
Small crews clear litter, clean benches, and rake fallen branches in one of the 8 districts we cover. Equipment, gloves, and bags are provided on-site. Groups of up to 8 people can be arranged for a single park in one morning slot.
Volunteers help with feeding, cage cleaning, and walking dogs at a local animal shelter. New volunteers are paired with someone from our team of 11 for the first shift, then can take solo slots in the following weeks.
Volunteers read with children in small groups at a community centre, helping with pronunciation and comprehension. Sessions are booked in blocks of four weeks, matching the same volunteer with the same group so progress is easy to track.
A small crew moves donated furniture and household goods between a collection point and a family in need, using a rented van. This is the most physically demanding of our 7 services and is priced for a full crew of 3-4 volunteers plus transport.
Volunteers help set up and staff small local events - registration desks, seating, and directing visitors. Bookings are confirmed at least 3 days ahead so we can assign volunteers familiar with the venue's district.

Yes. For companionship visits and reading support, we try to keep the same volunteer on a recurring slot. Out of 616 clients served since 2018, 144 have booked a second job with us.
